Product Description

DaGeneral & Bageera are back with us with another powerful Ep. ¬†Following our previous release’s including Balance & Don’t stop The Rhythm and ADE album track Laughing Stock, this Scottish based duo are certainly setting a pace with an insistent amount of releases and remixes.

The pair are names that regularly appear in credible chart positions whilst also gaining key industry support in the right places. Their release accolades already includes features on labels such as Bush, Resopal , Phobiq Recordings, Schallware (Berlin), Bullet Dodge & General Surgery, and with their own album looming the picture keeps on building.  If you have heard many of the Dageneral & Bageera productions you will know that they have the ability to cross merge an array of influences that covers our beloved styles, whilst maintaining a fundamental techno back bone that is also evident on this ep.

The Ep starts in full Techno fashion with the track Let Me Tell You. Here we have a quite deep and dark exhibit that as a real airy feel about it from the off. It features all the great techno percussive haul marks whilst hypnotically pulling you in the further you listen.

Next is the EP title track Carnival Days, this is a slight contrast to the prior with a happier disco Donna Summer esque edged feel to it. Its very percussive in kind of loose fashion including an 80’s cowbell type sound and worked around a spooky string line that gives the track more of a crossbreed of influences.

The last of the ep we jump back to industrial techno influences with the The Shizzle, this if definitely the hardest of the three tracks with a tough distorted type drum influence and moody modulated padded rises that are reminiscent of acts like Underground Resistance work.
